Further, every nagari that receives village funds needs to obtain village status or independent nagari according to IDM as stated in the Amendment and Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) of Dharmasraya Regency 2021 – 2026.

"Why is it included in the RPJMD? The answer is because nagari must have the same goals as local and central governments and must not deviate. Moreover, this has been stated in the vision and mission of the local government," he said.
